I started Freaky Ryder with a Freakshow F9 mother from 7East Genetics and a Lowryder IBL father from Doctor's Choice. The first The first generation from a cross between two parents.F1 ↗ plants grew in autumn 2022. I wanted an autoflower with the pinnate Freakshow leaf, so I continued selection in the following generations.
In The second generation of a cross, descended from F1 plants. Traits can separate into different combinations in this generation.F2 ↗, I found 6 plants out of 350+ seeds that combined autoflowering with the Freakshow leaf. I selected for leaf shape, plant and flower structure, and abundant trichomes. I advanced the line through F5; Doctor's Choice releases the commercial F6 generation.
The leaf is narrow and deeply divided, with pinnate leaflets. My F4 cards include medium-height and tall plants: some have short internodes and light branching, while others have longer internodes and more side branches. The catalog describes a compact, medium-height plant with a dominant central cola and dense, rounded flowers.
The autoflower cycle takes about 75 days from seed to harvest. At F4 harvest, I recorded a pine-and-floral aroma with gas, citrus and pepper; plant 022 had stronger sweet fruit notes. Pine, flowers, gas, citrus and pepper remain the core aroma in the release description.
Doctor's Choice releases the Regular seeds can produce both male and female plants.regular ↗ version, and the Feminized seeds are produced to give female plants.feminized ↗ version is released with Seedsman. Freaky Ryder also became the autoflowering parent of Freaky Fast F1 A backcross: crossing a descendant with one of its parents to preserve or reinforce that parent's traits.BX ↗ and Freaky Dankenstein.
