Description and facts

• TerpyZ Mutant Genetics selected Mentha de Croco Fern for fern-type leaves and released it first as regular seeds, then as feminized seeds. According to the breeder, about 80% of plants have fern-type leaves with narrow, sometimes snowflake-like leaflets, while about 20% have fused Raptor-type leaves.

History

According to TerpyZ, the line comes from Mentha de Croco Fern F1 crossed with Mentha de Croco Fern F2, with the fern trait originating from Mentholskunk V2 Fern-type. The regular version, Mentha de Croco Fern Reg (Fern BX1), was on the TerpyZ website by May 2024. The product page for the feminized Mentha de Croco Bx1 F2 was published on 3 August 2025. SeedFinder and GrowDiaries also list the line as Mentha de Croco Fern BX1 F2 and Mentha de Croco Fern.
