According to Soiltech, Holy Yowie comes from (Trinity x ABC) crossed with Pine Tar Dooligah. The F1 mother plant did not express the ABC leaf mutation, while both Pine Tar Dooligah male plants did.

History
On 8 December 2024, Soiltech included Holy Yowie in a public seed giveaway, listing the cross as (Trinity x ABC) x Pine Tar Dooligah. On 6 February 2025, they stated that they had created the cross. On 30 March 2025, tarrafa posted photographs of a female Holy Yowie plant from Soiltech with ABC-type foliage.
