History
On 22 February 2023, shwale presented Diamond Glands as Sugar Coat x JOMO and said its name referred to trichome heads splitting and forming facets. On 10 January 2024, shwale reported that partial gland abscission had become more common in Diamond Glands crosses through selection. On 24 January, shwale described fasciation in the line, including double stems, double leaves and whorled leaf arrangement.
